Pureza

Exhibitions — Curator
Lisboa, Portugal, 2012

Responding to a challenge proposed by the Portuguese water brand “Água de Luso” in the context of their 160th Anniversary, GMG curated the exhibition Pureza, produced by experimentadesign, that showcased the work of eight Portuguese artists.

Bringing together the architects Álvaro Siza Vieira and João Luís Carrilho da Graça, the designers Fernando Brízio, Miguel Vieira Baptista, Jorge Silva and Ricardo Mealha and the artists Joana Vasconcelos and João Louro, this project aimed to help the institution “Abraço” and their programme “Programa de Prevenção em Meio Escolar”. This was achieved by selling the works as a way to collect funds for the institution.

The exhibition took place in Convento da Trindade and included an interactive multimedia installation by the artist and musician Rui Gato.

Pro bono activity.
