Doing Well Fazer Bem Doing Good Book

Artistic direction and texts for the book Doing Well Fazer Bem Doing Good, published in connection with the Fazer Bem project.

This book shares the story—and the stories—of the first Fazer Bem project, a program created by Terrafoundation to promote women’s empowerment through educational processes rooted in design and craftsmanship. It also explores the introduction of creativity and design as elements of innovation, through the creation of artifacts with unique identity and cultural value, encouraging the use of natural and sustainable materials. It tells the story of eight women and how much can be achieved when the decision is made to do things well.

With artistic direction and texts by GMG, the book was also written by Portuguese journalist and author Susana Moreira Marques and designer Susana António, featuring a visual essay by Austrian photographer Renate Graf.

Bilingual, in Portuguese and English, it is a limited edition of 1,000 numbered copies and is distributed across 69 countries in partnership with Portuguese publisher AMAG.
