First Stone Book

Artistic direction and co-author of the book published as part of the Primeira Pedra program.

GMG coordinated, wrote, and provided the artistic direction for the Primeira Pedra book, published in 2022 and presented to the public on January 17, 2023, at the National Coach Museum in Lisbon.

The book, published exclusively in English and featuring a preface by the President of the Portuguese Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, spans 408 pages, offering a comprehensive account of the six years of work carried out under the Primeira Pedra program. Conceived and curated by GMG, this initiative brought together 15 authors from 14 countries and 28 national companies, resulting in the production of 77 original works in Portuguese stone, which were exhibited across nine different countries, involving more than 1,000 participants.
