With the intention to open Casa da Música to other areas of cultural production and to different types of audiences, GMG created the programme “ONP on Fridays”, featuring concerts by Porto’s National Orchestra alongside 12 events that created dialogues between designers, architects, artists and musicians.
Responding to a challenge proposed by the Portuguese water brand “Água de Luso'' in the context of their 160th Anniversary, GMG curated the exhibition Pureza, produced by experimentadesign, that showcased the work of eight Portuguese artists.
GMG curated the exhibition From Here to Somewhere, primarily presented in the Lisbon Airport and later in the Airport of Porto, that explored the relationship between travelling and design. This project was part of the programme of EXD’13 biennale.
Proposed and commissioned by GMG, Freedom of Image: Design and Visual Communication in Portugal (1974-1986) was an exhibition curated in the context of the 40th Anniversary Commemorations of the 25th of April, the Portuguese Carnation Revolution, and also part of the Year of Design 2014/2015 programme.
Commissioner of the National Awards of Portuguese Design that aimed to stimulate the development of the design discipline and the investments in innovation and research in this field in Portugal.
In the context of the Year of Portuguese Design, GMG was the commissioner and co-curator of the exhibition LEVE.
